    "description": "<p><span>JOB SUMMARY:</span></p>\n<p><span>Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Technicians administer TMS treatments under the supervision of mental healthcare professionals. They set up TMS equipment for each treatment and ensure patient comfort. Their duties also include recording session notes and tracking medical authorizations.</span></p>\n<p><span>RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Administering TMS treatments according to protocols provided by mental healthcare professionals.</span></li>\n<li><span>Enabling effective treatment by accurately positioning the TMS equipment's electromagnetic coil.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ensuring head and neck support in order for patients to remain completely still during sessions.</span></li>\n<li><span>Explaining TMS procedures and its possible effects on patients, as well as answering questions.</span></li>\n<li><span>Creating a supportive treatment environment and demonstrating compassion.</span></li>\n<li><span>Assisting patients to complete psychiatric rating scales after sessions.</span></li>\n<li><span>Recording session notes and collaborating with providers on patient care.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>QUALIFICATIONS:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>A bachelor's or associate degree in healthcare administration, or similar is preferred.</span></li>\n<li><span>Successful completion of TMS certification based on initial training provided.</span></li>\n<li><span>Experience working with patients suffering from anxiety and depression preferred.</span></li>\n<li><span>Demonstrable proficiency in electronic health recordkeeping software.</span></li>\n<li><span>Willingness to learn how to administer TMS treatments and assume high-level responsibility.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to work under supervision and collaborate with mental healthcare professionals.</span></li>\n<li><span>Advanced ability to ensure patient safety and comfort, as well as answering questions.</span></li>\n<li><span>Proficiency in taking session notes and assisting patients to complete psychiatric rating scales.</span></li>\n<li><span>Exceptional communication, as well as interpersonal skills to guide and reassure patients.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the above job summary, duties, and responsibilities satisfactorily.  The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. </span></p>\n<p><span>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</span></p>\n<p><span>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
