This position focuses on guest-facing environments such as lobbies, lounges, hallways, restrooms, and resort amenities. Lodgekeepers help ensure the lodge is clean, orderly, and ready for guest use at all times.</p><p><strong><u>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Clean and maintain public lodge areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, lounges, stairwells, and amenity spaces</li><li>Perform routine cleaning such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of windows, doors, railings, and high-visibility areas</li><li>Restock restroom supplies and lodge amenities</li><li>Monitor and tidy high-traffic areas throughout the day</li><li>Assist with minor setup tasks for meetings, small events, or guest needs</li><li>Report maintenance or safety concerns to management</li><li>Provide directions or basic guest assistance</li></ul><p><strong><u>Core Competencies&nbsp;</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Proficient in English reading, writing, and comprehension; additional language skills are a plus&nbsp;</li><li>Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, leadership, and members/guests</li><li>Exceptional attention to detail in all cleaning and maintenance tasks</li><li>High level of integrity, reliability, and honesty</li><li>Ability to perform duties efficiently while maintaining quality standards</li></ul><p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p><ul><li>Strong communication and teamwork skills.</li><li>Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.</li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.</li><li>Reliable, positive, and professional attitude with a commitment to quality and teamwork.</li><li>Must comply with Moonlight Basin&rsquo;s Dress and Grooming policies</li><li>Ability to complete tasks in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful hospitality environment with unpredictable business levels</li><li>CPR/First Aid Certification (preferred)&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong><u>Working Conditions</u></strong></p><p>This position spends approximately 90% of the time working indoors within public lodge spaces and 10% outdoors in all weather conditions. Work hours generally begin at 9:00 AM and conclude between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM, depending on operational needs.</p><p>Outdoor duties may involve exposure to snow, rain, mud, uneven terrain, and occasionally slippery surfaces&mdash;conditions typical of a residential mountain community. Indoor work takes place in temperature-controlled environments with moderate noise levels.</p><p><strong><u>Physical Requirements</u></strong></p><ul><li>Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift)</li><li>Ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds independently</li><li>Must have the stamina to perform physically demanding tasks, including repetitive motions such as scrubbing, vacuuming, dusting, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to safely navigate slippery or uneven floors and tight workspaces</li><li>Capable of hearing, speaking, and seeing well enough to communicate effectively in a noisy lodge setting</li><li>Comfortable working long shifts, weekends, holidays, and variable hours based on seasonal business demands</li></ul></div>\n",
