    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">POSITION SUMMARY:</span></p>\n<p>Plans, leads, and implements camp program for youth. Provides high-quality educational and recreational opportunities and enjoyable experiences for camp participants. Ensures campers and ensure their safety, development, growth, skill achievement and general well-being. <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">T</span>hese individuals will work with youth ages 5-16.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</span><br></p>\n<ol>\n<li>Plans, coordinates, and organizes camp activities for youth.</li>\n<li>Supervises and participates with campers at activity sites.</li>\n</ol>\n<ol>\n<li>Mentors and guides youth individually and in groups while using a behavior management system to shape youth behavior.</li>\n<li>Builds relationships with all campers showing compassions, empathy and understanding.</li>\n<li>Sets an example for behavior and attitude for campers.</li>\n<li>Maintains attendance daily, at the beginning and throughout the day.</li>\n<li>Maintains required camp data.</li>\n<li>Develops and maintains working relationships with parents/guardians.</li>\n</ol>\n<ol>\n<li>Transports campers to and from activity sites.</li>\n<li>Performs other duties as assigned to promote the overall mission and vision of CND.</li>\n</ol>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SKILLS AND ABILITIES:</span></p>\n<ol>\n<li>Commits to learning, creates positive change, and enables youth to learn.</li>\n<li>Strong verbal communication skills.</li>\n<li>1-2 years’ experience working with youth.</li>\n<li>Ability to engage in physical activities with campers.</li>\n<li>Ability to work with diverse population.</li>\n</ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Other Requirements </span></p>\n<p>Must possess a valid Ohio driver's license; must pass a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug screen.</p>",
