We value our professional and caring employees who are dedicated to improving people’s lives and we want&nbsp;<strong>YOU&nbsp;</strong>to join our team!</p>\n<p><strong>What you'll be doing:&nbsp;</strong>Teaching youth, 16-24 years of age in the welding processes of SMAW, GMAW, GMAW/SPRAY, FCAWG. FCAWS and GTAW in the D . 1 . 1 structural welding code. This is an opportunity to teach today's youth a career that has always been and remains in high demand in today’s industry.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Essential functions:</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<ol>\n <li>Provide students with direction,&nbsp;instruction, and&nbsp;assistance in designated areas of instruction.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior, training, personal&nbsp;problems, or study habits.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Coordinate with counselors and staff as necessary to resolve issues affecting student training and/ or instruction.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Develop and prepare lessons&nbsp;in accordance with approved&nbsp;curriculum guidelines, recommend curricula changes and supplemental materials.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Maintain organized,&nbsp;clean, and safe training environment.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Participate in student assessment panels, perform required documentation and evaluation using CIS (Center Information System) and other documentation systems.&nbsp;</li>\n</ol>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience Requirements:</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Certified&nbsp;by American Welding Society or the standards established by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers</li>\n <li>Boiler and Pressure Vessel code.</li>\n <li>Teaching experience is preferred.</li>\n <li>Valid&nbsp;driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Why:</strong> Make a positive impact in your community by doing meaningful work that results in a rewarding career.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Management &amp; Training Corporation (MTC) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
