We offer medical, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, employee assistance programs, company discounts, perks and more for most full-time positions!</p>\n<p>Start your phenomenal career with Allied Universal today!</p>\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p>Allied Universal is seeking<strong> Professional Security Guard - Full Time</strong> in Halton , Ontario. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong> </strong><strong>Job Title</strong>: Security Guard  </p>\n<p><strong>Job Location</strong>: Halton, ON</p>\n<p><strong>Job Type</strong>: Casual</p>\n<p><strong>Pay Rate</strong>: $ 20.00 per hour </p>\n<p><strong>Shifts</strong>: Sundays to Saturdays / Various Casual Shifts</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>*Must have a vehicle*</strong></p>\n<p><strong>*Wide availability for Day Shifts is required*</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Requirement:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiarity with access control systems and alarm  .</li>\n <li>Experience with report writing and note-taking.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.</li>\n <li>Valid <strong>Ontario security guard license.</strong></li>\n <li>Must be eligible to work in Canada <strong>for upto 24 hours per week.</strong></li>\n <li>First Aid and CPR - Level C</li>\n <li><strong>Must be at least 25 years old.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Valid Full G driver's license is a must.</strong></li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions</strong><strong> :</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Access control for the facility/area</li>\n <li>Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times</li>\n <li>Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate</li>\n <li>Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols, etc.</li>\n <li>Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies</li>\n <li>Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager</li>\n <li>Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents</li>\n <li>Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Operate/monitor security room equipment including but not limited to computers, CCTV cameras, radio, etc. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Opportunities for career growth and advancement.</li>\n <li>Comprehensive health and dental benefits</li>\n <li>Paid training and development programs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Disclaimer:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As part of our standard hiring process, all candidates being considered for employment with Allied Universal are required to undergo a background check.
