    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p>1. &nbsp; &nbsp;Education: &nbsp;Must be a graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program. &nbsp;<br id=\"isPasted\"><br>2. &nbsp; &nbsp;Training and Experience: &nbsp; Certification by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists in Radiography Technology and/or CT Technology. &nbsp;Prior experience preferred; extensive on the job training.<br><br>3. &nbsp; &nbsp;Job Knowledge: &nbsp; Ability to operate CT equipment; manage patients during radiology procedure; have knowledge of exams using contrast agents. &nbsp;Knowledge of radiographic equipment, radiation safety; flexibility to work overtime as needed as well as on-call duty and disaster work as required by workload and /unforeseen circumstances; must display a good understanding of age-related developmental issues of Neonate, Infant, Child, Adolescence, Adult and Geriatric follow oral and written instructions; communicate with patients, visitors and employees within the organization.<br><br>4. &nbsp; &nbsp;Safety Sensitive: &nbsp; YES<br>In the interest of protecting the health and safety of all patients, associates, and guests, Unity Health has classified some positions as &ldquo;safety sensitive.&rdquo; &nbsp;A &ldquo;safety sensitive&rdquo; position is any job position in which impaired performance could result in harm to the health and/or safety of self or others. Any associate that is actively engaged in the use of medical marijuana, even if in possession of a valid medical marijuana card, will be excluded from employment in a &ldquo;safety sensitive&rdquo; position.<br><br><br>DESCRIPTION:<br><br>Performs CT scanning examinations, contributing to the efficient operation of the department and promoting the philosophy, to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care.<br><br>Physical Effort: &nbsp;Worker is required to stand much of the day and work is moderately heavy. &nbsp;Extensive amounts of assisting, pushing, pulling and lifting patients is required. Workers must be able to adjust routine to accommodate patient or department without affecting departmental flow. &nbsp;Position requires ability to constantly lift objects heavier than 50 lb., perform difficult manipulative skills and hand-eye coordination skills, walk and stand for prolonged periods, see objects closely and hear normal sounds with some background noises. &nbsp;Worker must adjust to performing routine, repetitive tasks without specific supervision. &nbsp;Worker will be performing within a radiation area. &nbsp;Employee may frequently be exposed to blood, body fluids/tissues and electromagnetic ionizing radiation as in CRT&rsquo;s(VDT&rsquo;s).<br><br>Mental Effort: &nbsp;Position requires ability to concentrate on fine detail with constant interruption and attend to tasks for 20-45 minutes at a time. &nbsp;Individual must be able to understand and relate to the concepts behind specific ideas and remember multiple tasks given to self and others over long periods of time. &nbsp;Must be able to communicate verbally, using advanced level of vocabulary. &nbsp;Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with patients and families of all age groups, all radiology/nuclear medicine staff, referring physicians and residents, nursing scheduling, patient escort services and administration who may or may not be under physical and /or emotional stress. &nbsp;Frequent interaction with personnel in other departments and with vendors. &nbsp;The ability to maintain confidential information.<br><br><br><br><br></p></div></div>\n",
