IMEC is unable to sponsor visas for this role.<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The Finance Manager is responsible for supporting the development of financial strategies, preparing budgets, monitoring fiscal performance, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role involves analyzing financial data, generating reports, and mentoring team members while identifying opportunities for process improvement. The Finance Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting organizational goals through sound financial planning and cross-departmental collaboration.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Essential Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Financial Planning and Analysis:</span></p>\n<p>Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial models.</p>\n<p>Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to guide decision-making.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Reporting and Compliance:</span></p>\n<p>Generate accurate and timely financial reports for management and stakeholders.</p>\n<p>Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and company policies.</p>\n<p>Coordinate audits and implement recommendations to strengthen compliance.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Team Leadership:</span></p>\n<p>Mentor junior finance team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.</p>\n<p>Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with organizational objectives.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Process Improvement:</span></p>\n<p>Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.</p>\n<p>Optimize systems and tools for financial data analysis and reporting.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Risk Management:</span></p>\n<p>Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.</p>\n<p>Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data accuracy.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Additional Requirements/Qualifications</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education/Experience:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.</li>\n<li>Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, CMA) are a plus.</li>\n<li>Proven experience in financial management, with preference for non-profit sector experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills and Competencies:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and reporting standards.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Salesforce, Excel).</li>\n<li>Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.</li>\n<li>Attention to detail accuracy.</li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Work Environment:</span></p>\n<p>Hybrid work environment and standard hours with extended hours and weekend work as required. Applicants for this position must have access to reliable transportation to ensure timely attendance at both internal and external meetings as required by the job responsibilities.
