Other system services include the Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute, a regional trauma program, LifeFlight of Maine's southern Maine base, the Central Maine Comprehensive Cancer Center and other high-quality clinical services.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The Patient Care Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to all patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>1.     High School Diploma or equivalent.</p>\n<p>2.     Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), state approved Certification required.</p>\n<p>3.     Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.</p>\n<p>4.     Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.</p>\n<p>5.     Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.</p>\n<p>6.     Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.</p>\n<p>7.
