Trouble shoots leaks and breakdowns.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Operates and maintains equipment such as air compressors, boilers, chillers, generators, pumping systems, medical air/vacuum systems, reheat systems.&nbsp;</li><li>Cleans, lubricates, calibrates and adjusts all equipment according to preventive maintenance schedules.</li><li>Performs testing of water samples. Adds water treatment to boilers, heating and cooling water systems.</li><li>Perform as required emergency generator tests and logs all results.</li><li>Complies with established personal protective equipment requirements necessary for protection against exposure to blood and other potentially infectious body fluids, chemical disinfectants, radiation, ACM and other hazardous substances.</li><li>Fills out daily log sheets and daily round sheets. Submits this paperwork to the appropriate supervisor.</li><li>Assists the facilities management team in the planning and implementation of new programs and processes.</li><li>Routinely requests supplies needed to fulfill daily responsibilities.</li><li>Works with building management software to control equipment and monitor systems.&nbsp;</li><li>Responds to medical equipment calls as needed.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>High School or Trade/Vocational school graduate with 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the hospital or healthcare setting.</li><li>Operations Engineer II (OE2), Unlimited Heating, Piping, and Cooling License, or ability to obtain within 12 months of employment required.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to read blueprints, control schematics, technical manuals and specifications, as well as basic knowledge of all HVAC and mechanical systems/processes required.&nbsp;</li><li>Large plant experience with high pressure steam and chilled water production required.&nbsp;</li></ul>",
