The Canopy by Hilton, a stylish modern boutique hotel located in the lively heart of Downtown Grand Rapids, is on the lookout for a part-time Valet Attendant to join their team! In this position, you will warmly greet guests, responsibly park and retrieve vehicles, and maintain a smooth and organized parking experience. If you are a safe driver with previous experience in valet operations or within hotels, we invite you to apply today! Please note: Seeking candidates with open availability JOB SUMMARY: The Valet Attendant is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling, parking, and retrieval of hotel guest vehicles. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Drive and park guest vehicles safely and in a timely manner Provide guest assistance and information, such as giving directions, assisting with luggage, informing guests of hotel amenities, etc. Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally Follow all hotel safety protocols to protect guests, staff, and vehicles Keep parking areas clean and orderly to ensure that space usage is maximized Monitor any valet parking department equipment and inform a manager or supervisor of any repairs needed.
