As a Project Manager (Buildings), you will play a key role in overseeing the construction of vertical components associated with a major infrastructure project, including facilities such as bus stations and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) buildings. In this role, you will help drive project success by managing building construction activities from planning through completion, ensuring seamless coordination with the broader roadway program.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>With your expertise, you will oversee budgets, coordinate project personnel, manage subcontractors and consultants, and maintain production schedules that support timely delivery and exceptional quality. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will ensure that all vertical construction activities align with owner expectations, contract requirements, project phasing, and safety and quality standards. Collaborate with industry experts and committed teams to successfully deliver complex building components within a large-scale heavy civil infrastructure environment.</p> \n<h2>What you will be doing</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversees all aspects of the project, including construction, budget, and cash management, ensuring compliance with the project contract and owner needs. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Develops and manages the project schedule, pay estimates, procedures, staffing, and equipment resources for timely and accurate project production. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Assesses initial project contracts and documents for completeness, resolving specification, contract conflicts, and scheduling issues with the owner. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinates with project personnel to update the construction schedule and adjust for change orders, working with the Area Manager on cost or schedule changes. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Creates and presents monthly cost and revenue forecasts and reports to Flatiron leadership. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Builds strong internal and external relationships with Flatiron departments and the project owner to support the work plan and payment schedule. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Reviews and approves all media news releases related to the project. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Acts as the main contact for third-party stakeholders, including landowners, local business owners, and government agencies. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Conducts daily and weekly safety checks at the project site to ensure compliance with safety programs, facilitating safety reviews and procedures. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinates with the project superintendent to identify staffing and equipment needs for efficient project production. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Collaborates with internal legal counsel to resolve project disputes. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Leads project closeout procedures, finalizing contract paperwork, obtaining retainages, and resolving any project claims.
