This position is responsible for the performance and guidance of all department employees and for the direct supervision of the Assistant Director(s) of Admissions and Assessment as well as assuring the quality of clinical and administrative services. This work is carried out in support of the mission and goals of Samaritan Daytop Village.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>What You Will Do</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensures utilization rates are maintained at the level determined by agency policy. </li>\n <li>Coordinates and implements department services while modifying existing and developing new components with an eye toward continuous quality improvement.</li>\n <li>Helps develop and implement policies and procedures necessary for the operation of residential admissions, assessment, and mental health services.</li>\n <li>Provides clinical and administrative supervision and education to the admissions and assessment staff, as well as mental health services staff. </li>\n <li>Provides, in conjunction with the Director of Training, training, and education to the admissions and assessment staff. </li>\n <li>Ensures that admissions and assessment staff maintain accurate and confidential records that comply with external monitoring agency standards and internal policy and procedure.</li>\n <li>Monitors the quality and effectiveness of the ongoing delivery of clinical services in the Assessment. </li>\n <li>Provides regular progress reports to administration. </li>\n <li>Participates in internal agency committees. </li>\n <li>Serves as the agency’s residential program liaison with criminal justice agencies.</li>\n <li>Develops and maintains proactive relationships with referral sources. </li>\n <li>Represents Samaritan Daytop Village at community and public forums.</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as requested.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Who You Will Be</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>NYS License Master Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor</li>\n <li>A graduate degree in a clinical discipline (Social Work or Mental Health Counseling) with at least 5 years of staff experience in substance use treatment and/or mental health and at least 2 years of experience providing clinical services.</li>\n <li>At least 1-3 years of providing regular face-to-face supervision to a clinical team.</li>\n <li>Available to work a flexible schedule as needed in response to participant and staff needs.</li>\n <li>Computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHR.</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain confidentiality.</li>\n <li>Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of medical terminology.</li>\n <li>Team player and ability to work independently.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#li-onsite</p>\n<p>#Indeed-HP</p>\n<p> </p>",
