    "description": "<h2> Overview </h2>\n<p>The Squires Group is seeking an experienced <strong>Oracle Functional Consultant</strong> with strong expertise in <strong>Oracle General Ledger (GL)</strong> and <strong>Oracle Accounting Hub</strong> to support a federal financial management environment in Washington, DC. This role will provide functional leadership and hands‑on support for core accounting processes within <strong>Oracle Federal Financials</strong>, ensuring accurate financial transaction processing, reporting, and compliance.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in federal accounting operations, Oracle financial module configuration, and collaboration with both technical teams and business stakeholders. This is a hybrid position based in Washington, DC. The role will initially require onsite support approximately <strong>3–4 days per week</strong>, with the expectation that onsite presence may decrease over time as the project matures.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Per contract requirements, candidates must be <strong>U.S. Citizens</strong> or <strong>Green Card Holders</strong> and be able to pass the client’s background check.</p>\n<h2> Responsibilities </h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as a functional subject matter expert for Oracle General Ledger and Oracle Accounting Hub</li>\n <li>Support configuration and functional oversight of Oracle Federal Financials</li>\n <li>Assist with federal accounting processes, transaction processing, and financial reporting</li>\n <li>Gather and document business requirements and translate them into Oracle functional solutions</li>\n <li>Support functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and issue resolution</li>\n <li>Collaborate with technical teams, business users, and project leadership</li>\n <li>Support data validation, reconciliations, and audit readiness activities</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain functional documentation and provide end‑user support as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<h2> Qualifications </h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Hands‑on functional experience with Oracle Federal Financials</li>\n <li>Proven expertise in Oracle GL and Oracle Accounting Hub</li>\n <li>Experience supporting federal accounting and financial transaction processing</li>\n <li>Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work effectively in a hybrid, on‑site federal environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior experience supporting large federal financial system implementations</li>\n <li>Experience with functional testing, UAT coordination, or post‑production support</li>\n <li>Familiarity with federal financial regulations and reporting requirements</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Per contract requirements, candidates must be <strong>U.S. Citizens</strong> or <strong>Green Card Holders</strong> and be able to pass the client’s background check.</p>\n<h2> </h2>\n<p><em><strong>4 Reasons to Join The Squires Group, Inc.:</strong> </em><em>1.
