Our Youth Services division plays a central role in this mission, helping young people discover their potential and access meaningful educational opportunities.</p><hr data-start=\"1233\" data-end=\"1236\"><h2 data-section-id=\"1500fpb\" data-start=\"1238\" data-end=\"1262\"><strong data-start=\"1241\" data-end=\"1262\">Position Overview</strong></h2><p data-start=\"1264\" data-end=\"1470\">Queens Community House is seeking a <strong data-start=\"1300\" data-end=\"1349\">Director of Education Strategy &amp; Partnerships</strong> to lead innovative, cross-sector efforts that expand learning opportunities for children and youth across New York City.</p><p data-start=\"1472\" data-end=\"1723\">With <strong data-start=\"1477\" data-end=\"1582\">70% of NYC third graders reading below grade level&mdash;and rates rising to 76% among low-income families&mdash;</strong> QCH is advancing a citywide education strategy to strengthen access to meaningful learning experiences from early childhood through college.</p><p data-start=\"1725\" data-end=\"2144\">The Director of Education Strategy &amp; Partnerships will play a key role in shaping and advancing this work. While the <strong data-start=\"1842\" data-end=\"1876\">CDF Freedom Schools initiative</strong> serves as a cornerstone of the strategy, this role extends well beyond a single program. It is designed for a leader who can think across systems, cultivate strong partnerships, and develop initiatives that build a more connected and supportive educational ecosystem.</p><p data-start=\"2146\" data-end=\"2485\">Working closely with the <strong data-start=\"2171\" data-end=\"2257\">Chief Program Officer, CEO, and the Associate Executive Director of Youth Services</strong>, the Director will collaborate with community-based organizations (CBOs), NYC school districts, and city agencies including the <strong data-start=\"2386\" data-end=\"2419\">Department of Education (DOE)</strong> and the <strong data-start=\"2428\" data-end=\"2484\">Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD)</strong>.</p><p data-start=\"2487\" data-end=\"2751\">A substantial portion of this role will focus on <strong data-start=\"2536\" data-end=\"2590\">technical assistance and coaching for CBO partners</strong>, ensuring that new program sites launch successfully, continuously improve, and deliver high-quality learning experiences for young people across neighborhoods.</p><hr data-start=\"2753\" data-end=\"2756\"><h1 data-section-id=\"ls18e3\" data-start=\"2758\" data-end=\"2780\">Key Responsibilities</h1><h2 data-section-id=\"w05fzy\" data-start=\"2782\" data-end=\"2822\"><strong data-start=\"2785\" data-end=\"2822\">Program Strategy &amp;
