This role is essential in supporting the smooth, efficient running of our kitchen and ensuring high standards of cleanliness, organisation and teamwork.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span>This is a zero‑hours position, with shifts offered in line with business needs. Weekend availability is particularly important, as these are some of our busiest times.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you’ll be doing:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Wash, dry and store dishes, cutlery, pans and kitchen equipment to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly</span></li>\n<li><span>Maintain clean, tidy and well‑organised kitchen, wash‑up and back‑of‑house areas</span></li>\n<li><span>Clean work surfaces, floors, equipment and storage areas in line with hygiene and safety standards</span></li>\n<li><span>Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation such as peeling, chopping and ingredient prep</span></li>\n<li><span>Help with deliveries, including unpacking and storing stock safely and correctly</span></li>\n<li><span>Support stock rotation and ensure ingredients are stored appropriately</span></li>\n<li><span>Empty bins and manage waste following company procedures</span></li>\n<li><span>Assist chefs and the wider kitchen team during busy service periods</span></li>\n<li><span>Follow cleaning schedules and report any maintenance or hygiene concerns</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What we’re looking for:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A positive, hardworking attitude and willingness to get stuck in</li>\n<li>Ability to work well as part of a busy, supportive team</li>\n<li>Calm, efficient approach during busy service periods</li>\n<li>Willingness to learn, take direction and support the wider kitchen team<br></li>\n<li>Previous kitchen or cleaning experience is helpful but not essential<br></li>\n<li>Flexibility to work weekends and peak trading periods</li>\n<li>Strong time‑management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks</li>\n<li>Good attention to detail, especially around cleanliness and hygiene</li>\n<li>Right to work in the UK</li>\n<li>Access to transport due to our rural location</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What we offer:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>£10.85 - £12.71 per hour, plus tips</li>\n<li>Staff wine and shop product discounts</li>\n<li>Access to staff dicount scheme on highstreet &amp; grocery stores</li>\n<li>Opportunities for training and progression, including wine education</li>\n<li>Supportive and friendly team in a beautiful rural setting</li>\n<li>Free parking</li>\n<li>Reduced-rate staff menu</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We welcome applications from candidates who do not meet 100% of the requirements.</p>",
