The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in various Plumbing system designs, project management, and industry codes and standards. This role involves leading design projects, mentoring junior engineers and designers, and collaborating with cross-discipline teams to deliver innovative Plumbing solutions for various sectors including commercial, retail/hospitality, industrial, healthcare, aviation, transportation (rail/transit/ports), education, and civic/community.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Key Responsibilities:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Lead the design, analysis, and implementation of Plumbing systems for various projects.</em></li>\n<li><em>Develop detailed Plumbing drawings, specifications, and schematics using CAD and BIM software.</em></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Ability to size equipment, perform calculations, and design plumbing systems including domestic hot and cold water, sanitary waste and vent, grease waste, storm drain, booster pumps, sewage ejectors, sump pumps, natural gas, compressed air, acid waste, medical gas, and basic fire protection.</em></li>\n<li><em>Ensure compliance with industry standards, local building codes, and sustainability requirements.</em></li>\n<li><em>Collaborate with architects, contractors, owners, and other engineering disciplines to define project scope and integrate Plumbing systems seamlessly.</em></li>\n<li><em> Provide </em><em>technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff.</em></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Review and approve project documentation including calculations, equipment schedules, construction drawings, RFI’s, and submittals.</em></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Conduct site inspections and troubleshoot Plumbing system issues during and after construction.</em></li>\n<li><em>Stay current with emerging Plumbing technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and efficiency.</em></li>\n<li><em>Assist in preparing project proposals, report writing, cost estimates, and client presentations.</em></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-weight: bold\">Job Qualifications and skills</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Minimum qualifications:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>7-10+ years of experience in Plumbing system design and engineering for facilities/buildings.</em></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work in a collaborative team environment.</em></li>\n<li><em>Ability to work well under pressure, juggle multiple projects concurrently, and motivate multi-discipline project teams in meeting client needs in a timely manner and within budget objectives.</em></li>\n<li><em>Strong project management and leadership capabilities.</em></li>\n<li><em>Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.</em></li>\n<li><em>Strong organizational skills, creativity, and enthusiasm.</em></li>\n<li><em>Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).</em></li>\n<li><em>Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD design software.</em></li>\n</ul>\n<p><em> </em></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Preferred qualifications:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or CPD certification is a plus.</em></li>\n<li><em>EIT or Professional Engineer License is a plus.</em></li>\n</ul>\n<p><em> </em></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-weight: bold\">Pay and Benefits</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Full-Time Career Position with highly competitive pay that includes performance-based incentive plans.</em></li>\n<li><em>Retirement Savings 401(k) plan with corporate matching.</em></li>\n<li><em>Excellent Full Benefits Package: Includes comprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance for employee and immediate family and Group Life/AD&amp;D insurance for employee.</em></li>\n<li><em>Availability of Voluntary Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, and Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options. </em></li>\n<li><em>11.5 paid holidays per year. </em></li>\n<li><em>Paid Time Off for sick leave and vacation.</em></li>\n<li><em>A highly sought-after work environment which fosters creativity and collaboration.</em></li>\n<li><em>Professional development and continuing education opportunities.</em></li>\n<li><em>Growth potential within the company that’s unique within our industry and offers clear career path options.</em></li>\n<li><em>Associate-Senior Associate-Principal (ASAP) Program offered to encourage employees to take a more active role in the corporation and build a more secure and rewarding future.</em></li>\n<li><em>Receptive and Forward-Thinking Leadership.</em></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>If you are a highly motivated and detail-oriented Plumbing Design Engineer looking to take on a senior role at a growing and industry-leading firm, we encourage you to apply and join our team!</p>",
