Description

Personal Trainer- Part Time Student PURPOSE To motivate and instruct individuals or groups in exercise activities, including cardiovascular exercise, strength training and stretching. ESSENTIAL POSITIONS FUNCTIONS Assess clients’ fitness level and goals Body fat testing, blood pressure, previous experience, etc. Create a personalized fitness plan for individuals and/or small groups based on assessment Demonstrate exercises and routines for clients Assist clients and modify exercises to minimize injury Track clients’ progress using personalized methods Conduct sales of personal training sessions QUALIFICATIONS Must be a Life University student Certification is encouraged but not necessary 3+ years of personal training experience a plus Must have or be able to obtain a First Aid/CPR Certification PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Standing or Walking for at least 50% of the day
