This position is a Monday through Friday day shift, no weekend, and holiday or on-call expectation. Hours may vary to meet the needs of the department. This position reports to the Nurse Manager and/or the Director of Surgical Services.&nbsp;</span></p><p id=\"isPasted\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia,serif;\"><strong>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,serif;\"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Currently licensed to practice in the State of Ohio</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree preferred</li><li data-pasted=\"true\" style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">1 year of PAT experience required</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">At least 1 year of prior clinical experience in perioperative services required</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Professional appearance at all time</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Current BLS certification required&nbsp;</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,serif;\"><strong>Skill, Ability, and Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Have interpersonal and analytical skills necessary to function under the current standards of nursing practices</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Communication skills with the ability to deliver complex, detailed, verbal information to patients, &nbsp;physicians, and other outside agencies</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, manage, and complete multiple tasks within the identified time period defined</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Attend meetings as assigned</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Physically able to perform the functions of the position</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Pre-operative testing coordination of all surgical and infusion patients&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Providing pre surgical patients a point of contact for their surgical journey</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Contacting Surgeon or ordering provider as needed for verification of concerns, orders, or other situations to assure patient ready for the day of surgery</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Touch points with patients before surgery to review pre-op instructions&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Follow up on all orders for patients to make sure all appointments are scheduled in a timely manner and that all appropriate documentation is in the chart</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Collaborates with &nbsp;the Pre Post unit and operating Charge Nurse help ensure everything is addressed prior to patient&rsquo;s surgery</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Compliance with HIPAA to access to and use of Protected Health Information according to institutional and regulatory rules and regulations.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,serif;\"><br></span></p><p><strong><span style=\"font-family: georgia,serif;\">&nbsp;</span></strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
