    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p>Please contact Human Resources for the complete job description.</p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Summary/Objective:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>As a valued member of our team, the Maintenance Truck Tech III is required to perform all duties of the level 1 and level 2 technician. In addition, should show proficiency one of the two mayor skill level categories and about 60% proficiency in another category. Category 1 includes internal repairs on engines, transmissions, and gear boxes. &nbsp;Category 2 includes electronic control modules and sensors complex electrical and after treatment repairs.</p><p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities:</strong> None</p><p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Appropriate tools required to diagnose, perform mayor repairs in vehicles and to effectively do inspections and routine preventive services.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Able to use compressed gas torch and adjustments. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Effectively do inspections and mechanical repairs to equipment and routine preventive services.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Efficient communication and computer skills for proper file documentation on each job performed.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Knowledge and ability to identify the proper name of all visible parts and non-visible parts in a vehicle. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency in all maintenance.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Ensures vehicles meet CHP/BIT/PM inspection requirements.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Will maintain appropriate record keeping for Bit inspections, DVIRs, work done description and work orders. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Replace, install and service brake systems, cab and sheet metal components, engine accessories, &nbsp; &nbsp; HVAC systems, hydraulic systems, and lighting electrical systems. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Replace, install and service mixer truck equipment, product transfer systems, starting systems, steering systems, transmissions, wheels, hubs and bearings. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Replace, install frame components and basic diagnose of electronic control systems. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Replace, install, service and diagnose charging systems, clutches and drive lines, and suspensions systems.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Will inspect and identify vehicle conditions on different types of equipment such as tractors, trailers, or mixers.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Will install, select, or identify proper tire replacements &amp; legal limit knowledge.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Diagnose and repair vehicle system engine failure and vehicle system transmission &amp; gear box failure. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Follow manufacture service and troubleshooting procedures, diagnose and repair vehicle system. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Diagnose and repair vehicle Aftertreatment systems, Advance Electrical systems, Air brake system and brake valve diagnose.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Diagnose and repair vehicle Hydraulic system failure.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Diagnose and repair HVAC failure diagnose.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Complete all maintenance duties as assigned, and repair all equipment on property including, but not limited to, diesel, plant, or yard equipment.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Perform routine and preventive maintenance to keep vehicles and equipment in compliance with DOT and company standards.</p><p><strong>Non-Essential Duties:</strong></p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Efficient organizational skills for scheduling and periodization of jobs.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Will prepare metal surfaces and welding techniques to complete assigned tasks. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Track and schedule operations or manager on vehicles status and updates.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Perform other duties as assigned by management.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Core Competencies:</strong></p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to read and interpret documents.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Basic math and measurement skills.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment utilized in maintenance repair.</p><p><strong>Position Type/Expected Hours of Work</strong></p><p>This is a full-time position. General days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, hours to be determined. &nbsp;Not eligible for remote work.
