An ideal candidate will have completed at least one shipboard tour in a logistics, parts, or supply-related role.<br><br><strong>Typical Responsibilities:</strong><ul><li>Provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for Cargo/Weapons Elevators, Aircraft Elevators, Deck Edge Doors, Hanger Bay Divisional Doors, Vertical Package Conveyors and other assigned equipment. </li><li>Accompany elevator assessors aboard U.S. Navy ships and confirm that shipboard elevator/conveyor configurations match technical documentation.</li><li>Complete material readiness assessment reports as defined by the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM), Vol. IV, Chapter 8.</li></ul><br><strong>Location: </strong>Onsite at Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) in Norfolk, VA.<br><br><strong>Typical Physical Activity: </strong>Mix of desk/computer work in an office environment and visits to waterfront/shipboard environments. May involve: repetitive motion, traversing shipboard environments (e.g. confined spaces, ladders, hatches), or vision.<br><br><strong>Existing SECRET Security Clearance Required</strong>: This position requires an existing active or interim Secret security clearance prior to hire. Only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance; therefore, only current U.S. citizens will be considered for this position.
