As a Security Officer at Hyatt Regency Minneapolis, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests, colleagues and visitors. Your presence will support the overall guest experience through proactive safety measures, conflict resolution, and excellent customer service. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Monitor hotel premises via patrols and surveillance systems to ensure safety and security Respond quickly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, or disturbances Assist with crowd control, lost and found, and access control Complete detailed reports on incidents, accidents, and daily activities Provide excellent service and support to guests and colleagues in a courteous and helpful manner Enforce hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a calm and respectful demeanor Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary Assist with fire drills, evacuation procedures and first aid as needed What you can expect Collaborative and team-driven environment with diverse industry experience Health benefit eligibility at 30 days of employment 401K with company match – eligible to contribute at 30 days of employment Discounted room nights at over 1,000 Hyatt properties upon hire Free room nights at over 1,000 Hyatt properties at 90 days of employment Education Assistance/Tuition Reimbursement Discounted employee parking ($5/day or $100/mo) Access to hotel gym (25,000 sq. ft.)
