Responsibilities
Directly responsible for shift production and ensuring it meets the given production schedule. Plan and execute shift production on an hourly basis as per planning. Finalise production figures and handover to the shipping department. Track and collect data on daily consumables and production reports. Handle and manage breakdowns during shifts, ensuring timely resolution. Track breakdown times and collect relevant data. Manage and control manpower during production and non-production periods. Perform electrical preventive maintenance on machines and equipment as per scheduled programs. Issue consumables from the store for production purposes. Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Housekeeping (GHK) practices at production lines.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (B.Tech-Regular). 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in a production or manufacturing environment. Knowledge of benchmarking methodologies and tools is an advantage. Passion for market data analysis and advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and interface with various internal departments. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Working knowledge of electrical preventive maintenance practices. Familiarity with GMP/GHK practices and standards. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
