    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Job Summary:&nbsp;</strong></p><p><em>An assistant manager at Oasis Stop &lsquo;N Go is essentially a store manager in training and will, under the direction of the store manager and company leadership, learn many of the tasks and responsibilities that the store manager performs. &nbsp;The assistant manager supports the store manager in the daily operations of a convenience store and fills in for the store manager in their absence, fulfilling the duties and requirements as outlined in the store manager job description.</em></p><p><em>&nbsp;</em></p><p><strong>Duties:</strong></p><p><em>&nbsp;</em></p><ul><li>Exhibits excellence in customer service. Always greeting and thanking all customers and resolving any customer concerns that may arise.</li><li>Report to work on time, neatly groomed and in uniform.</li><li>Enter all sales in the Passport at the time of sale.</li><li>Brew coffee, prepare and stock other dispensed beverages and supplies.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of the interior building including restrooms.</li><li>Check-in vendor deliveries, ensuring all products invoiced are received.</li><li>Complete and submit daily paperwork.</li><li>Prepare and make daily deposits on the weekend, and when covering the store manager.</li><li>Restock, face, and clean shelves and coolers. Verify no out-of-date merchandise exists.</li><li>Maintain the cleanliness of the exterior building, fuel pumps, and parking lot.</li><li>Complete daily manager site walks, looking for opportunities to enhance site image and monitoring the property for hazards that may exist.</li><li>Prepare and stock fast food items. Learn hot and cold requirements.</li><li>Attend store team meetings and contribute your concerns and ideas.</li><li>Be flexible with changes, including the possibility of rotating shifts, exchanged shifts, and extra hours in emergencies.</li><li>Be knowledgeable about, follow and enforce all company policies.</li><li>Be safety and security conscious, following guidelines set out in the safety manual, and report any incidents to your store manager immediately.</li><li>Treat customers, co-workers, and vendors as you want to be treated.</li><li>Assist in coaching and developing other employees.</li><li>Verifies that all company programs are executed in a timely manner.</li><li>Assists with sales floor presentation.</li><li>May be assigned specific responsibilities such as ordering and inventory.</li><li>Maintain a positive attitude.</li><li>Performs other similar or related duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Skills &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li><strong>Must be 19 years of age to sell alcohol.</strong></li><li><strong>Minimum 3 months experience in customer service associate role or equivalent retail.</strong></li><li><strong>Background check.</strong></li><li><strong>Strong oral and written communication.</strong></li><li><strong>Able to solve problems in sometimes challenging circumstances.</strong></li><li><strong>Computer experience preferred.</strong></li><li><strong>Occasionally requires lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.
