In return for your contributions, you will be rewarded with career growth opportunities, an incredibly competitive market salary, and other benefits that include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Paid time off (PTO)</li>\n <li>Paid Holidays</li>\n <li>Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans</li>\n <li>401(k) with a high percentage match</li>\n <li>Generous profit sharing</li>\n <li>Cell phone stipend</li>\n <li>Referral bonus opportunities</li>\n <li>Employee discounts</li>\n <li><strong>And more!</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>JOB TITLE:</strong> Building Materials Driver - CDL</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>FUNCTION: </strong>The Driver II, Building Materials is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of building materials and lumber supplies as specified by customer orders and Company standards.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>LOCATION:</strong>  Salt Lake City, UT</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>KEY ACTIVITIES:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Visualize, fulfill, and implement the company vision and core values.</li>\n <li>Safely drive and operate lumber delivery truck.</li>\n <li>Assume responsibility for the proper operation and maintenance of company vehicle.</li>\n <li>Perform daily pre and post safety checklists on truck.</li>\n <li>Observe and obey all traffic laws in the operation of assigned company vehicle.</li>\n <li>Record the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) log at the end of each shift.</li>\n <li>Record all information on each delivery ticket and turn in a signed delivery ticket.</li>\n <li>Deliver orders/building materials to each customer according the specifications on the delivery ticket.</li>\n <li>Provide exceptional customer service and team support.</li>\n <li>Advise management of any customer situations beyond scope of authority.</li>\n <li>Maintain a commercial driver’s license (CDL) and department of transportation (DOT) medical card.</li>\n <li>Maintain insurable driving record.</li>\n <li>Maintain a clean and safe working environment, identifying and addressing potential safety concerns.</li>\n <li>Operate equipment according to specification and in alignment with designated safety standards.</li>\n <li>Adhere to company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook, etc.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong process/procedure orientation.</li>\n <li>Effective written and verbal communication/comprehension skills.</li>\n <li>Strong team and customer service skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to achieve performance objectives in a time-sensitive and quality-centered environment.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates initiative and reliability with minimal supervision.</li>\n <li>Safety conscious.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of DOT compliance regulations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED).</li>\n <li>Class A CDL with doubles and triples endorsement.</li>\n <li>Clean driving record.</li>\n <li>Track record of safety-conscious performance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Physical Work Requirements - Heavy: exerting up to 75 lbs of force regularly.</li>\n <li>Repetitive motion associated with operating a forklift and other equipment.</li>\n <li>Frequent climbing into and out of a large truck, bending, standing, lifting, and ongoing physical activity.</li>\n <li>Sitting for long periods of time while driving.</li>\n <li>Outdoor working conditions, sometimes in extreme climates.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>This description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, efforts, or work conditions associated with this job.
