We invite you to contact us and see what it means to be #burnsbuilt.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Ideal Candidate: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Requires at least two years of experience in the responsibilities listed below, which may include:</li>\n<li>Driving to the job site.</li>\n<li>Inspecting trucks, bulldozers, and other heavy equipment for proper performance.</li>\n<li>Diagnosing faults using computerized testing equipment.</li>\n<li>Adjusting equipment and replacing faulty parts.</li>\n<li>Repairing damaged equipment parts.</li>\n<li>Cleaning, lubricating, and conducting routine services on heavy construction equipment and vehicles.</li>\n<li>Cleaning and servicing of machine attachments like winches, blades, and side booms.</li>\n<li>Performing major repair work when necessary.</li>\n<li>Consulting with other mechanics on smaller jobs.</li>\n<li>Reporting damaged or faulty equipment to Fleet Manager.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications / Skills:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines</li>\n<li>Attention to detail and alert always to ensure safety</li>\n<li>Able to receive and follow instructions</li>\n<li>Communicates well with co-workers</li>\n<li>High school diploma is an asset</li>\n<li>Ability to safely operate various vehicles and equipment</li>\n<li>Previous experience, especially in the heavy equipment or maintenance industry, preferred</li>\n<li>CDL Class A with Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">All candidates must be able to pass the following: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drug Screen (fee paid by Burns) </li>\n<li>Background Screening</li>\n<li>MVR Screening</li>\n<li>DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse Query (if applicable)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>At Burns Dirt, we believe in a skills-first approach to recruitment and employment.
