Are you calm under pressure and committed to showing up with purpose? If so, Sunrise invites you to join our overnight team as an <strong>Overnight Youth Mentor</strong>, a key role in our trauma-informed, residential treatment program for adolescent girls and boys ages 12-17. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Facilitate the transition from evening routines to bedtime. </li>\n <li>Conduct room checks, monitor emotional regulation, and respond to any safety incidents.</li>\n <li>Intervene early and effectively during emotional or physical escalations.</li>\n <li>Maintain firm boundaries and model emotionally regulated behavior.</li>\n <li>Communicate key observations to the treatment team.</li>\n <li>Document overnight events thoroughly and consistently.</li>\n <li>Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, organized environment.</li>\n <li>Participate in staff and house bonding activities.</li>\n <li>Maintain professional boundaries while building therapeutic rapport.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Basic Requirements:</strong> Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license.</li>\n <li><strong>Safety & Certification:</strong> Able to pass a Utah State background check and obtain a Food Handler’s Permit before starting.</li>\n <li><strong>Crisis Readiness:</strong> Trained or willing to be trained in CPR, First Aid, and safe restraint techniques.</li>\n <li><strong>De-escalation Skills:</strong> Confident in managing and calming agitated or combative students.</li>\n <li><strong>Relationship Builder:</strong> Strong communication skills and the ability to form healthy, supportive connections.</li>\n <li><strong>Positive Role Model:</strong> Committed to teaching and modeling strong values and respectful behavior.</li>\n <li><strong>Long-Term Commitment:</strong> Willing to commit to a minimum of 8 months in a structured, team-based environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Access to an established Mastery Program that offers professional and financial opportunities for professional growth.</li>\n <li><strong>Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance</strong> – Multiple plan options including PPO and HDHPs with HSA eligibility and company contributions.</li>\n <li><strong>Paid Parental Leave</strong> – Up to 6 weeks fully paid for exempt employees and 4 weeks for non-exempt.</li>\n <li><strong>Life & Disability Coverage</strong> – Company-paid life, AD&D, and long-term disability; voluntary life and optional short-term disability available.</li>\n <li><strong>401(k) with Company Match</strong> – Retirement savings with matching contributions after eligibility period.</li>\n <li><strong>PTO & Holidays</strong> – Competitive PTO accrual plans and paid holidays throughout the year.</li>\n <li><strong>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</strong> – Free, confidential support for life’s challenges.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Sunrise is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.</strong> We are committed to enriching the therapeutic and healing experience we offer through the diversity of our employees and community.
