    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/21.39.21/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">&nbsp;<link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/21.39.21/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><p>The Almaden Valley Athletic Club (AVAC) Swim School is looking for people who LOVE children and enjoy being in the water. &nbsp;We&rsquo;re proud and passionate for our superhero team who instill in children a lifelong love of swimming, respect for the water, the full spectrum of swimming skills, and prevention of the #1 cause of death in the US, drowning. &nbsp;Never taught a swim lesson before? &nbsp;That&rsquo;s OK! &nbsp;We train all our teachers our award winning skills progression and aquatic/child development philosophy.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Pre-requisites:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Schedule consistency (super important to our kiddos), able to work weekends</li><li>LOVES children. Loves watching them learn, play, talk, sing, and get excited. &nbsp;Welcomes the challenge when they cry, fall down, pout, talk back, and struggle with their learning.</li><li>Ability to be on stage (or rather a fishbowl). &nbsp;An AVAC Swim School Teacher is calm, collected, friendly, playful, and professional.</li><li>Extreme patience</li><li>Comfort with talking to a child at eye level with age relevant conversation.</li><li>At home in the water. &nbsp;Able to spend hours in chlorinated water, in a swimsuit, in an out of the pool via stairs, supporting kids of all sizes in shallow and deep water</li><li>Ability to obtain CPR/AED Certificate within 30 days. Ability to&nbsp;obtain a Red Cross Lifeguard certificate within&nbsp;6 months&nbsp;(Shallow Water Lifeguard is acceptable)</li><li>Ability to pass a background check and California&rsquo;s child care registry, Guardian.</li></ul><pre><strong>Compensation:</strong>  $17.55-$20.00 with opportunities for advanced positions.</pre></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
