This hands-on role is perfect for mechanically-minded professionals who want to be part of a team that ensures our guests experience safe, reliable, and unforgettable fun every day. </p>\n<p><strong>Benefits:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>3 weeks paid vacation (6 sick days, 11 paid holidays) </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Several medical coverage options to fit your needs best </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>401K match </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>FREE entry to ALL our parks and water parks! </li>\n</ul>\n<p>  </p>\n<p><strong>Perks:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Complimentary tickets for friends and family </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Discounts on food and park merchandise </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Full-time employee events and gatherings </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong> </p>\n<p>Position responsibilities, after training, with supervision include but are not limited to: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform <strong>daily, weekly, monthly, annual</strong>, and other scheduled inspections of rides and attractions. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Use <strong>visual and auditory techniques</strong> to assess equipment condition and address issues through corrective maintenance. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Execute <strong>preventative and unscheduled maintenance</strong>, including repairs and replacements of components like: </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Gears, chains, sprockets </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Brakes, clutches, wheels, bearings, springs </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Gearboxes, hoses, and other mechanical parts </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Troubleshoot and repair <strong>mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, systems</strong>. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain <strong>accurate records</strong> of inspections, maintenance, and repairs. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Communicate ride status and issues clearly to supervisors and team members. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Operate equipment such as <strong>lathes, mills, drill presses, grinders</strong>, and welding tools (MIG, TIG, Arc) as needed. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Interpret and apply information from <strong>blueprints and manufacturer manuals</strong>. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure compliance with <strong>safety codes, standards</strong>, and Kings Island operational policies. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Weld items as specified by layout, blue prints, weld procedures, diagrams, work orders, and oral directions. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Weld in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Clean and degrease weld joints or work pieces using brush, grinder, or chemicals. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare broken parts by grooving or scarfing surfaces. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Capable of positioning work piece using clamps or jigs. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Able to follow all company policies, rules, and regulations. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform Ride Mechanic duties when welding is not available. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Other duties as described by management</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Valid state driver’s license</strong> required. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>2 to 4 years</strong> of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience, preferably in amusement, manufacturing, or industrial settings. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong knowledge of: </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Mechanical principles (gear ratios, torque, tool use, etc.) </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Power transmission components (bearings, bushings, couplers, etc.) </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Pneumatic and hydraulic systems</strong> (knowledge of both preferred) </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret <strong>technical diagrams and service manuals</strong>. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Comfortable working in <strong>fast-paced, team-oriented environments</strong>. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Capable of working at heights up to <strong>300 feet</strong>, in all weather conditions. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be available to work <strong>nights, weekends, and holidays</strong> as required. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>License or Certification: Able to pass company required performance tests including 6G weld test in 2\" and 8\" steel pipe within 60 days of employment. </li>\n</ul>",
