Explore opportunities with us and help improve the quality of life in the communities we serve.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Group: Construction Solutions</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Position: Project Engineer </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Location: Cincinnati, OH</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Inspect construction work on transportation, utility, and infrastructure projects to ensure compliance with state and federal specifications.</li>\n <li>Correlate and analyze field data, verify pay quantities, and review plans and records.</li>\n <li>Assist with scheduling, documentation reviews, and maintaining project correspondence.</li>\n <li>Prepare estimates, process change orders, and support time extensions and contract adjustments.</li>\n <li>Communicate with contractors, clients, and project stakeholders regarding technical issues and field conditions.</li>\n <li>Review project submittals and RFIs and coordinate responses with the Project Manager.</li>\n <li>Ensure proper documentation in AASHTOWare Project, Appia, or equivalent software.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate project records, including field books, daily reports, and photos.</li>\n <li>Participate in project meetings and provide updates, records, and recommendations.</li>\n <li>Uphold and promote all safety and quality expectations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited program required.</li>\n <li>Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required or ability to obtain.</li>\n <li>Minimum of 2 years of construction inspection or relevant construction experience.</li>\n <li>Ability to interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract requirements.</li>\n <li>Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and exposure to design or markup tools (Bluebeam REVU preferred).</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of AASHTOWare Project, Appia, or similar platforms preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Certifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I</li>\n <li>Aggregate Level I or equivalent</li>\n <li>Traffic Control/Work Zone Safety</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
