Comprised of dedicated people and decades of manufacturing experience, we have continued to experience strong growth and currently have outstanding career opportunities for equally dedicated people.</p><p><strong>Job Summary: &nbsp;</strong> Provide detailed instruction relating to the set-up, operation and maintenance of plastic and silicone injection molding systems. &nbsp;Conduct research to stay current on upcoming technologies, assist with developing and validating technical training products.</p><p><strong>Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Employee skills/needs assessment(s) to support a development plan for staff.</li><li>Create, organize, plan, and present various forms of training for all team members as needed.</li><li>Develop and keep current a vast array of training programs to fit the needs of all technical groups that support the design/build/ and operations of the business related to injection molding.</li><li>Create and/or acquire training manuals, guides, and course material.</li><li>Track and maintain training data bases for training needs as well as who has completed training.</li><li>Presentation of all training to staff using various forms and formats to include group discussions, lecture, and videos and animations.</li><li>Evaluation of effectiveness of training and feedback from employees and leaders on the effectiveness of the training and or changes/improvements desired.</li><li>Maintain knowledge of the latest trends in training and development.</li><li>Train multiple technologies to staff, RJG, Priamus, all machine controllers.</li><li>Train staff on materials that are used in the molding process.</li><li>Train staff to all documentation needed in the roles trained.</li><li>Performs other duties as required.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>Essential Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>15 years of proven injection molding proficiency</li><li>Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, including written communication</li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite</li><li>Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods</li><li>Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective training and development</li><li>Proficient use of Injection molding machine controllers</li><li>Expert knowledge of RJG and thermoplastics/thermosets (SIL) molding processes</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Desirable Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Previous Leadership experience</li><li>In depth knowledge and understanding of Injection Molds and DFM</li><li>Regulatory compliance knowledge</li><li>Good Documentation Practice experience</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>ADA Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Typically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for frequent operation of a computer</li><li>Stand, walk, bend, &nbsp;reach or otherwise move about occasionally</li><li>Lift, move or otherwise transfer items up to 15 lbs. occasionally</li><li>20 - 30% Travel</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>What SMC has to offer?</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Clean, Climate-Controlled Environment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Stable schedule&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Paid holiday and PTO</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Health, dental, and vision insurance</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">401(k) retirement savings</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Life and disability insurance</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Promotional opportunities</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Training and career growth programs</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Amazing co-workers</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Tuition reimbursement</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Employee Assistance Program</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><em>At SMC Ltd. we recognize that people come with a wealth of experience and talent beyond just the technical requirements of a job.
