We are searching for a <strong>Value Stream Manager</strong> to join our team located at our facility in Tamaqua, PA. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Your Role:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a <strong>Value Stream Manager,</strong> you will oversee extrusion or converting operations to safely deliver the highest quality product in the most efficient manner.  As our manufacturing technology, automation and opportunity for optimization increase, we must transfer knowledge and leverage best practices within our manufacturing sites as we continue to develop a Lean Management System to run our facilities.  Additionally, you will be responsible for optimizing plant performance by ensuring a flawless implementation of the Reynolds Boundless Performance System (RBPS).</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>You will have the opportunity to Make Great Things Happen!</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead Behavioral Based Safety within the department.</li>\n <li>Lead cross-functional teams, optimizing workflows by eliminating waste, managing production goals, and ensuring alignment with business strategy.</li>\n <li>Bridge the gap between technical and operational teams, executing a range of CI solutions that move operations beyond current state to the next level of efficiency.</li>\n <li>Identify and eliminate waste (like scrap, overproduction, and delays) in the value stream, often using techniques like Lean, 6 Sigma, and DMAIC methodologies.</li>\n <li>Monitor and drive performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as safety, quality, delivery, and cost.</li>\n <li>Implement and maintain quality and safety systems to reduce injuries and ensure products meet customer requirements.</li>\n <li>Oversee staffing decisions, training, and development to build high-performing teams.</li>\n <li>Act as a liaison with other departments to streamline operations and ensure alignment.</li>\n <li>Drive the implementation of the Reynolds Boundless Performance System (RBPS) within the facility.</li>\n <li>Develop a RBPS auditing strategy to ensure growth and sustainability of the program..</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Improvement orientation and training:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide training for teammates and ensure that the responsibilities are defined and understood.</li>\n <li>Oversee lean projects.</li>\n <li>Teach others to lead improvement efforts, including training on effective tools for successful project leadership.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Metrics Definition and Development:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Establish metrics to monitor financial savings as compared to established goals and targets.</li>\n <li>Ensure KPI’s for Daily Management are relevant and directly translate to manufacturing results.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Identify ongoing lean improvement:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Utilize proper Waste Detection methods (e.g. Value Stream Mapping) to identify improvement opportunities. </li>\n <li>Effectively use Gemba Walks to identify waste and develop effective use of standard work.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>You will love it here if…</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>You put safety first, always.</li>\n <li>You listen, learn, and evolve.</li>\n <li>You are passionate about collaboration, teamwork, and achieving shared goals.</li>\n <li>You treat all people with respect, operating ethically, and embrace inclusivity.</li>\n <li>You are committed to improving our impact on local communities.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>We need you to have:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in a field related to Business, Engineering, Operations, or Manufacturing.</li>\n <li>Previous Supervisory or Management experience.</li>\n <li>5+ years of professional and progressive process improvement experience in a manufacturing environment.</li>\n <li>Microsoft Office experience with intermediate Excel Skills.</li>\n <li>Knowledge in the areas of: 5S, SMED, TPM, VSM, PDCA or equivalent, A3 Problem Solving.</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.</li>\n <li>Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n <li>Masterful at translating data to tangible manufacturing results.</li>\n <li>Innate ability lead through influence.</li>\n <li>Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills, with high attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Excellent Root Cause Analysis Skills using a formal RCFA system.</li>\n <li>Ability to connect needs of production operations with plant goals and objectives.</li>\n <li>Solid project management capabilities with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously from origin through execution.</li>\n <li>Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.</li>\n <li>Must be team-oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.</li>\n <li>Ability to travel occasionally.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Icing on the cake:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>MBA or other advanced degree</li>\n <li>Prior team management experience combined with a proven track record of developing, coaching and mentoring a diverse staff</li>\n</ul>\n<p>If you answer yes to the following…we want to meet you!</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Intellectual Curiosity: Do you have an inquisitive nature?</li>\n <li>Problem Solving: Do you have a knack for tackling issues head-on?
