    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>SUMMARY:&nbsp;</strong>This position assists the Director of Machining in meeting team quality and delivery metrics.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Planning<ul type=\"circle\"><li>Study specifications such as blueprints, sketches, models or descriptions and visualize products to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate parts.</li><li>Compute dimensions, plan layouts and determine assembly methods and sequence of operations.</li><li>Examine standard or previously used dies, tools, jigs and fixtures and recommend design modifications regarding construction and function of a part.</li><li>Develop specifications from general descriptions for specialty tools and model or sketch design of product.</li></ul></li></ul><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Machining</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><ul type=\"circle\"><li>Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools such as lathes, milling machine and grinders to machine parts and verify conformance of machined parts to specifications.</li><li>Smooth flat and contoured surfaces, fit and assemble parts together into assemblies and mechanisms.</li><li>Verify dimensions, alignments and clearances.</li></ul></ul><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Performs other related duties as assigned by management.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>This job has no supervisory responsibilities.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>High school diploma or GED equivalent</li><li>Tool and Die Journeyman&rsquo;s Certification preferred</li><li>2-5 year&rsquo;s experience with manual or CNC machines</li></ul><p><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\">Virginia Panel Corporation is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
