This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious architect to gain hands-on experience, develop their technical design skills, and take increasing ownership of projects within a supportive and growth-oriented environment.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>This hybrid role offers a mix of in-office, on-site, and remote work providing dynamic and flexible work experience.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Do</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Support project managers on medium-to-large-scale architectural projects; Lead smaller assignments with growing independence</li><li>Conduct building inspections on-site&mdash;including from scaffolding and lifts&mdash;documenting findings and supporting project analysis across fa&ccedil;ade restoration, preservation, rehabilitation, and alteration projects.</li><li>Actively participate in all phases of projects including investigation, estimating, design documentation, municipal filing, bidding, and construction administration.</li><li>Produce detailed architectural drawings in AutoCAD; efficiently create and revise project documents such as field reports, estimates, and meeting minutes.</li><li>Foster strong professional relationships through regular and clear communication with clients, contractors, and consultants; attend meetings and maintain strong professional relationships.</li><li>Monitor construction activity to ensure adherence to plans and specifications; proactively identifying and escalating any discrepancies or issues to Project Manager as needed.</li><li>Maintain a current understanding of New York City building codes and zoning regulations, and provide support in navigating public review processes and agency filings&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrate the ability to work effectively both independently, managing tasks and deadlines autonomously, and collaboratively within a team, contributing positively to a fast-paced project environment.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Field Work Expectation</strong></p><p>This role involves fieldwork between 40%-75% of your weekly schedule, depending on project phase and workload.
