We have been in continuous operations since 1869, the same year the first US transcontinental railroad was completed. &nbsp;We have been able to meet the needs of our customers with a steady, dependable and economical supply of high-quality railroad industry products. &nbsp;As McConway is the original designers of the first standard automatic coupler, continued innovation and craftsmanship have and has led to a product line that includes every AAR approved coupler as well as custom coupler solutions, which are all proudly cast in the US.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Kutztown Foundry and Machine</strong> is currently searching for <strong>Equipment Tech/Millwright&nbsp;</strong>to join our team. As an<strong>&nbsp;Equipment Tech</strong> you will perform mechanical repairs and maintenance to production and mechanical equipment and facility.</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Kutztown, PA</p><p><strong>Shift:</strong> Must be able to work any shift - will be consistent after training.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>What you&rsquo;ll do:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Capable of servicing and repairing most common industrial equipment, such as grinders, forklifts, cranes, welders, lathes, etc.</li><li>Capable of performing routine maintenance operations on equipment, such as oil changes, greasing, adjustments and minor repairs.</li><li>Capable of performing routine electrical repairs and some troubleshooting of motor controls.</li><li>Capable of basic repairs of plumbing and heating systems.</li><li>Capable of fabricating hardware that may be required to support the maintenance operation.</li><li>Observe all company rules and regulations</li><li>Must be able to work on elevated platforms</li><li>Must be willing to flexible with assignments and shifts</li><li>Report any abnormal conditions to lead person or supervisor</li><li>Perform all other job-related tasks as assigned</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What you&rsquo;ll need:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>1 or more years of previous experience</li><li>High school diploma</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds.</li><li>This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays</li><li>Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Safety Activities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Be aware of and observe all safety practices.
