&nbsp;</strong>Shift&nbsp;Work</p><p><br></p><h1>Job&nbsp;Summary</h1><p>This position is to assist and back up the Shift Manager with operating and leading maintenance positions within the plant and personnel for assigned shifts.</p><h1>Essential Functions</h1><ul><li>In&nbsp;the&nbsp;Shift&nbsp;Manager&rsquo;s&nbsp;absence,&nbsp;this&nbsp;position&nbsp;leads&nbsp;all&nbsp;employees&nbsp;of&nbsp;their&nbsp;assigned&nbsp;department&nbsp;but&nbsp;has&nbsp;no&nbsp;direct reports.</li><li>Maintain&nbsp;a&nbsp;working&nbsp;knowledge&nbsp;of&nbsp;all&nbsp;Maintenance&nbsp;Department&nbsp;functions,&nbsp;jobs,&nbsp;responsibilities,&nbsp;and&nbsp;SOP&rsquo;s.</li><li>Ensures&nbsp;adherence&nbsp;to&nbsp;maintenance&nbsp;schedule.</li><li>Responsible&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;total&nbsp;operation&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;shift.</li><li>Leader&nbsp;of&nbsp;daily&nbsp;crew&nbsp;meeting&nbsp;that includes&nbsp;issues&nbsp;such&nbsp;as:&nbsp;safety,&nbsp;quality,&nbsp;and&nbsp;production.</li><li>Evaluates&nbsp;systems&nbsp;or&nbsp;facilities&nbsp;to&nbsp;determine&nbsp;maintenance&nbsp;and&nbsp;repairs&nbsp;that&nbsp;need&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;performed.</li><li>Create,&nbsp;improve,&nbsp;manage,&nbsp;and&nbsp;expand&nbsp;preventative&nbsp;maintenance&nbsp;programs&nbsp;for&nbsp;plant&nbsp;equipment&nbsp;and&nbsp;facilities.</li><li>Coordinate&nbsp;facility&nbsp;and&nbsp;utility&nbsp;outages&nbsp;and&nbsp;upgrades.</li><li>Develop&nbsp;solutions&nbsp;to&nbsp;plant&nbsp;related&nbsp;problems.</li><li>Conduct&nbsp;audits&nbsp;to&nbsp;ensure&nbsp;employees&nbsp;are&nbsp;performing&nbsp;tasks&nbsp;according&nbsp;to&nbsp;standards&nbsp;operating&nbsp;procedures&nbsp;(SOP).</li><li>Provide&nbsp;performance&nbsp;coaching&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;Maintenance&nbsp;technicians.</li><li>Demonstrate&nbsp;professionalism&nbsp;in&nbsp;verbal&nbsp;and&nbsp;written&nbsp;communication&nbsp;and&nbsp;in&nbsp;behavior.</li><li>Maintain&nbsp;records,&nbsp;files,&nbsp;instruction&nbsp;manuals,&nbsp;and&nbsp;necessary&nbsp;parts&nbsp;and&nbsp;supplies&nbsp;for&nbsp;all&nbsp;plant&nbsp;equipment.</li><li>Responsible&nbsp;for&nbsp;work&nbsp;order&nbsp;disbursement&nbsp;and&nbsp;completion.</li><li>Responsible&nbsp;for&nbsp;creating,&nbsp;modifying,&nbsp;deleting,&nbsp;(managing)&nbsp;work&nbsp;orders&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;inventory&nbsp;management&nbsp;system.</li><li>Each employee shall comply with occupational safety and health standards and all rules, regulations, and orders issued&nbsp;pursuant&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;Occupational&nbsp;Safety&nbsp;and&nbsp;Health&nbsp;Act&nbsp;which&nbsp;are&nbsp;applicable&nbsp;to&nbsp;his/her&nbsp;own&nbsp;actions&nbsp;and&nbsp;conduct.</li><li>Complies&nbsp;with&nbsp;all&nbsp;applicable&nbsp;food&nbsp;safety&nbsp;regulations&nbsp;and&nbsp;mandates&nbsp;(Safe&nbsp;Quality&nbsp;Foods,&nbsp;Food&nbsp;and&nbsp;Drug&nbsp;Admin, Pasteurized Milk Ordinance).</li><li>Complies&nbsp;with&nbsp;all&nbsp;company&nbsp;food&nbsp;safety&nbsp;policies&nbsp;and&nbsp;procedures&nbsp;(including&nbsp;Good&nbsp;Manufacturing&nbsp;Practices).</li><li>Responsible&nbsp;for&nbsp;providing&nbsp;food&nbsp;safety&nbsp;and&nbsp;quality&nbsp;feedback&nbsp;to&nbsp;appropriate&nbsp;manager.</li><li>Ensure&nbsp;after&nbsp;hours&nbsp;response&nbsp;in&nbsp;the
