You won't be stretched across unrelated responsibilities—your expertise will be dedicated to creating accurate, defensible estimates from day one, backed by our extensive historical data and self-perform trade knowledge.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>The Role: </strong>You'll provide estimating services for conceptual and hard bid work across diverse contract types, with a focus on complex commercial and institutional projects.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Core Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Review proposal specifications, drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings to determine scope and estimate requirements</li>\n <li>Develop conceptual, self-perform, hard bid, and GMP estimates for complex projects</li>\n <li>Create detailed quantity takeoffs and man-hour-based estimates using historical data from purchase orders, subcontracts, and productivity analysis</li>\n <li>Provide risk analysis input, constructability reviews, and value engineering support during preconstruction</li>\n <li>Collaborate with operations teams during bid evaluation and subcontractor selection</li>\n <li>Maintain comprehensive documentation to support all estimate figures</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>What You Need:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>8+ years</strong> of estimating experience on commercial/institutional projects up to <strong>$150 million</strong></li>\n <li>Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent technical training and experience)</li>\n <li>Experience with <strong>self-perform work</strong> and <strong>at-risk GC/CM</strong> delivery methods</li>\n <li>Project expertise in sectors such as <strong>healthcare, life sciences, higher education, food & beverage manufacturing, data centers, or similar complex facilities</strong></li>\n <li>Strong command of estimating software, cost control systems, and engineering disciplines</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently on complex proposals while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills for partnering with preconstruction teams, project teams, architects, and subcontractors</li>\n</ul>\n<p>If you have 5-7 years of solid estimating experience and are ready to take on more complex work, we encourage you to apply.
