This role works closely with surveyors, project managers, and field crews to transform field data into accurate, well-organized deliverables while maintaining established survey standards and procedures. The position is primarily office-based and may include limited field support depending on workload and experience. Whether you are a recent graduate with untapped potential or a professional with proven experience, we invite you to discover a career path designed for you.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest with 15 offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>CAD Drafting, Exhibits & Production </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare layout and perform drafting tasks and calculations from instructions using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation OpenRoads</li>\n <li>Prepare technical drawings, exhibits, maps, and reports for survey projects</li>\n <li>Draft survey related exhibits including boundary, topographic, control, right of way, easement, and construction related drawings</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Data Processing, Calculations & Data Reduction</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Import, organize, and manage survey field data (points, figures, surfaces) </li>\n <li>Run calculations utilizing CAD programs and perform survey calculations/data reduction under supervision (experience dependent)</li>\n <li>Analyze raw data for mathematical closure and geometric accuracy (experience dependent)</li>\n <li>Maintain field/data records, survey project files, and indexing systems</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Survey Support, Coordination & QA/QC </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Participate in pre survey planning meetings with Project Managers and Land Surveyors</li>\n <li>Support field crews with data and calculations for construction, topographic, right of way, boundary, and control survey projects</li>\n <li>Review and interpret field notes with field leadership to clarify discrepancies and verify adherence to survey practices</li>\n <li>Ensure drawing accuracy, completeness, and internal quality control prior to review</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent required</li>\n <li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation OpenRoads (role level dependent)</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Excel (role level dependent)</li>\n <li>Knowledge of GIS database management (role level dependent)</li>\n <li>Basic knowledge of land surveying laws and regulations </li>\n <li>Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record meeting company insurance requirements</li>\n <li>Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures</li>\n <li>Work in urban and rural environments, including roadways and uneven terrain</li>\n <li>Ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, and reach for extended periods</li>\n <li>Ability to lift, carry, and operate survey equipment and supplies weighing up to 50+ pounds</li>\n <li>Ability to clear brush and vegetation as needed to complete survey tasks</li>\n <li>Potential exposure to insects, wildlife, traffic, and environmental hazards</li>\n <li>Willingness to work overtime as needed</li>\n <li>Willingness to travel and stay overnight for project locations more than two hours from the home office</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits and Perks</strong></p>\n<p>We offer a comprehensive benefits program that supports the whole person.
