Staff members supervise students, assist with tutoring and enrichment activities, support positive behavior, and ensure students remain safe and accounted for at all times.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><br></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hours:</span> Typically Monday–Friday, 3:15 PM–6:00 PM. Flexible scheduling may be available based on program needs and staff availability.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: rgb(224, 62, 45); font-weight: bold\">This position is to start when the 2026 - 2027 school year starts. </span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Essential Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Student Supervision &amp; Safety</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintain active supervision of assigned students at all times.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensure students are safe, engaged, and following program expectations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Assist with attendance, transitions, dismissal procedures, and student accountability.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Immediately report any safety concerns, injuries, behavioral incidents, or emergencies to the After School Director.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Help maintain a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Academic Support</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Assist students with homework, tutoring activities, and academic enrichment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Encourage student participation and effort during tutoring sessions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Support students in developing organizational, study, and problem-solving skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Reinforce school-day academic and behavioral expectations.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Enrichment &amp; Engagement</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Lead or assist with hands-on activities, games, clubs, recreation, arts, STEM projects, and other enrichment opportunities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Encourage creativity, teamwork, leadership, and student engagement.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Help prepare materials and clean up activity areas as needed.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Participate actively in activities rather than simply supervising from a distance.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Communication &amp; Professionalism</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintain positive relationships with students, families, and fellow staff members.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Communicate concerns, observations, and student needs to the After School Director.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Follow all school and after-school program policies and procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Demonstrate professionalism, dependability, and punctuality.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">High school diploma or equivalent required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience working with children in educational, recreational, childcare, camp, or youth development settings preferred.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to manage student behavior in a positive and productive manner.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>",
