    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>APC PD Project Manager&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Location:</strong> The reporting location is Corporate Headquarters.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>JOB SUMMARY</strong></p>\n<p>This posting is for a Grid Transformation Project Management position responsible for the management of system improvement projects, where project oversight can include solar, battery storage, R&amp;D, DOE portfolio and audit support, and other Grid Transformation related projects.&nbsp; In addition, the successful PM will support traditional project management activities of the organization.&nbsp; Some responsibilities span the state and are not area specific. &nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>JOB REQUIREMENTS</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Educational/Certification Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical degree is required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience</strong></p>\n<p>Technical Experience Requirements</p>\n<ul>\n <li>5+ Years of combined experience in Project Management, Planning, Protection &amp; Control Field Services, Design, Construction, Operations, Resource Planning, Policy &amp; Services, or maintenance of the transmission system required.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with project management principles and techniques including the Gated Process or Oracle Unifier is a plus</li>\n <li>Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the transmission system, engineering principles, electric operating practices, construction practices, land requirements and regulations, budgeting, scheduling, and general business practices.</li>\n <li>Strong analytical skills to evaluate progress, identify problem areas, evaluate alternatives, and determine viable solutions&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to organize, manage, and prioritize large volumes of work.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to think under pressure</li>\n <li>Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI, MS Access, and Excel Pivot Tables.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Leadership Experience Requirements</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated focus on Safety</li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience leading team efforts, identifying critical paths, and resolving conflict</li>\n <li>Demonstrated leadership on projects involving multiple work groups and departments</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiarity with System Planning, Interconnection and Transmission Service Policies</li>\n <li>Ability to build and maintain professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders</li>\n <li>Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively and maintain relationships at all levels, including executives, management, supervision, covered employees, contract employees, business leaders, and all customers</li>\n <li>Excellent analytical skills and ability to conduct financial analysis, develop and manage capital budgets and provide accurate budget projections, reports, and audit responses as required.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Innovative problem-solving skills</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Primavera (P6), TEAMS, STOMP, Oracle Projects/Financials, MS Office Suite, TransMap, TSMART, and other Transmission operational and maintenance tools</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Behavioral Attributes</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Values of Safety First, Unquestionable Trust, Superior Performance and Total Commitment.</li>\n <li>Contributes to an inclusive environment and interfaces with a diverse group of individuals.</li>\n <li>Attention to detail and following processes and procedures.</li>\n <li>Takes initiative and demonstrates personal responsibility, decisiveness, and flexibility</li>\n <li>Must be able to handle heavy workloads, time pressures, multi-tasking, and conflicting demands</li>\n <li>Ability to resolve competing conflicts between cross-functional areas</li>\n <li>Actively participates, facilitates conflict resolution, and fosters teamwork and cooperation as a leader or contributor</li>\n <li>Adaptable to and supports organizational change</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Manages the PM processes for projects, including the identification of necessary tasks, milestones, and resource requirements</li>\n <li>Works closely with project team to develop project scope, schedule, budgets, forecasts, and outage work plans</li>\n <li>Finds efficiencies in the project management process by ensuring projects are fully and accurately scoped, budgeted, and scheduled, ensuring input is received from all relevant cross-functional stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Support of special funding (i.e. DOE) and R&amp;D projects related to Grid Transformation</li>\n <li>Works closely with our Interconnections, Policy &amp; Services, Planning, R&amp;D, New Ventures, and Resource Planning teams to foster strategic plans to maintain or improve system resilience and reliability to our customers.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Establishes and maintains excellent working relationships and partnerships with all project stakeholders, including Regional, Operations, CRE, Design, Marketing, Executive, etc.</li>\n <li>Provides regular updates/communications on project status (i.e. Originators, PDPM Management, TMCs, project team, and executive level management as warranted)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Expect travel up to 25 percent of time dependent upon project needs across the state.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Project site meetings are expected to be in-person and on-site unless otherwise advised.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>",
