It's preferred that you have already taken the FE but if you haven't we can help you achieve that.<br><br>Competencies: </p><ul><li>Acquires, understands, and applies technical and professional knowledge and skills to perform job effectively, efficiently, and safely.</li><li>Establishes, enforces, and drives policies that promotes Company vision and culture to achieve company objectives. </li><li>Ability to nurture and maintain key relationships internally and externally through communication and diplomacy. </li><li>Contributes to a positive and productive team-oriented environment. Offers open communication/feedback within the team. Minimizes conflict and builds collaboration to maintain productive team. </li><li><p>An understanding of geotechnical engineering concepts and analysis methods.</p></li><li><p>Ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought.</p></li><li><p>Ability to interpret sketches, engineering drawings, and other similar material.</p></li><li><p>Basic experience in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with AutoCAD Civil3D, GeoStudio, and gINT.</p></li><li><p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Willing to travel on an as-needed basis in support of geotechnical investigations, construction, and inspections.</p></li></ul><p><br>PRIMARY DUTIES</p><ul><li>Perform field sampling and testing utilizing a drill rig, seismic refraction, double-ring infiltrometer, etc.</li><li>Performs a variety of skilled professional engineering work in the office and/or field.</li><li>Applies broad/basic knowledge of principles of civil and geotechnical engineering to observe construction work, observe and document existing conditions, scope work, prepare proposals, perform site studies, identify soil and bedrock, establish laboratory testing programs, evaluate and characterize site conditions, perform engineering analysis and prepare reports.
