You join a community that respects who you are away from work as much as what you do while at work. </p><p></p><p><b>Where Your Career is a Force for Good!</b> </p><p>We are seeking a DM Capacity Building Coordinator to support the facilitation of Learning and Development (L&amp;D) efforts and the management of associated data, knowledge and evidence.<br /> </p><p><b>WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview):</b>  <br />To ensure the American Red Cross ISD can continue to provide high quality of service, the American Red Cross has established a Disaster Management (DM) Capacity Building unit focused on translating the Programmatic Learning and Development needs to practical and experiential learning for the IGP and ISD. We seek a DM Capacity Building Coordinator to support the facilitation of Learning and Development (L&amp;D) efforts and the management of associated data, knowledge and evidence.<br /> </p><p><b>WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD:</b>  </p><ul><li>We are seeking candidates with a strong technical background in learning and development</li><li>Must have project management, multilateral coordination, and data, information, and knowledge management skills</li><li>Be able to work in a dynamic, highly collaborative, and service focused environment which requires a high level of multi-tasking, flexibility, initiative, collaboration, and a creative approach to work.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>PAY INFORMATION:</b> </p><p></p><p><b><i>The salary range for this position is $85k-$90k.</i></b> </p><p>This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded. </p><p>Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. </p><p></p><p>This role is not eligible for relocation assistance</p><p></p><ul><li><b>WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:</b>  Bachelor’s degree required in related field.  </li></ul><ul><li>Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, competency-based approaches, training methodologies, learning systems and tools required; prior experience developing, designing, and/or implementing competency-based learning activities a strong plus. </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to work independently and guide L&amp;D conversations with technical experts </li></ul><ul><li>Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Data and Information Management; direct experience with the commonly used systems and platforms referenced in this JD is a strong plus </li></ul><ul><li>Strong knowledge of knowledge management principles, approaches, and tools. </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to manage projects, prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively in a fast-moving and dynamic environment.   </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to travel internationally up to 30% of the time. </li></ul><ul><li>Prior experience in international humanitarian sector, disaster management or RCRC Movement is a strong plus. </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to work with volunteers is a strong plus. </li></ul><ul><li>Fluent written &amp; spoken English is required. Additional languages a strong plus. </li></ul><ul><li>Must possess strong personal integrity, professionalism, ability to adapt to changing situations, and a commitment to RCRC fundamental principles. </li></ul><p>  </p><p></p><p></p><p><b>WHAT WILL GIVE YOU THE COMPETITIVE EDGE:</b> </p><ul><li>Strong knowledge of knowledge management principles, approaches, and tools. </li><li>L&amp;D - Adult Learning Applications an techniques and trainings.</li><li>Professional Development in Disaster Services.</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to manage projects, prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively in a fast-moving and dynamic environment.   </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to travel internationally up to 30% of the time. </li></ul><ul><li>Prior experience in international humanitarian sector, disaster management or RCRC Movement is a strong plus. </li><li>Virtual Training capabilities</li><li>Fluent written &amp; spoken English is required. Additional languages a strong plus. </li><li>Must possess strong personal integrity, professionalism, ability to adapt to changing situations, and a commitment to RCRC fundamental principles. </li></ul><p></p><p><b>BENEFITS FOR YOU:</b> </p><p>As a mission-based organization, we believe our team needs great support to do great work.
