    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Are you a strategic and detail-driven finance leader with a passion for driving performance and supporting growth?</span></p>\n<p><span>Hard Rock Hotel Malta, a leading name in hospitality and leisure, is looking for a </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Financial Controller </span><span>specialist to join our finance team and support our top hotels and vibrant restaurant brands across the island.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px\"><br>💼 <span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Your Role:</span></span></p>\n<p>As Financial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting decision-making, ensuring financial compliance, and leading your team to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting across the group’s diverse business units.</p>\n<p>You’ll collaborate closely with Department Heads, Senior Management, and the Group CFO to maintain a strong financial backbone for our hotels, restaurants, and retail operations.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px\"><br>🚀 <span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare accurate monthly management accounts to support performance reviews.</li>\n<li>Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting.</li>\n<li>Develop cash flow statements and financial reports as required.</li>\n<li>Submit timely and accurate VAT returns.</li>\n<li>Conduct financial analysis for new and ongoing business opportunities.</li>\n<li>Oversee and strengthen internal financial control processes.</li>\n<li>Act as primary contact for external auditors during statutory audits.</li>\n<li>Monitor debtors and credit control procedures, reporting regularly to the Group CFO.</li>\n<li>Support and supervise accounts staff in managing daily cash settlements and receivables.</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with group policies, accounting standards, and fiscal regulations.</li>\n<li>Propose and implement finance policies and process improvements.</li>\n<li>Mentor and develop the finance team in line with db Group values.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px\"><br>✅ <span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">What We’re Looking For:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ACCA qualification</span> or equivalent (mandatory)</li>\n<li>Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in hospitality or multi-entity operations</li>\n<li>Excellent command of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Excel</span>, Word, and other MS Office tools</li>\n<li>Experience with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">accounting software</span> and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ERP systems</span> (an asset)</li>\n<li>Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills</li>\n<li>High level of accuracy, organisation, and initiative</li>\n<li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><span><br>The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial regulations in the EU, with knowledge of Maltese compliance requirements preferred.</span></em><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">📩 <span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Ready to take your career to the next level?</span></span></p>\n<p>Apply now and become part of Malta’s most respected hospitality group.<br>Click “Apply for this Job” and submit your CV.<br><br></p>\n<p>We look forward to meeting you!</p>",
