Overview ABOUT THE POSITION VHB is seeking an experienced Senior Revit Designer to join our Watertown, MA office. If you are passionate about high-quality Revit modeling and ready to take the next step in your career, this is a strong opportunity to do impactful work on complex, visible projects. As our workload continues to grow, you’ll play a key role in delivering some of the largest and most exciting local projects in the region. You’ll focus on advanced modeling of buildings and structures - using your Revit expertise to help shape projects from concept through detailed design. At VHB, you’ll be joining a collaborative, multidisciplinary team within a well-established, growing firm. You’ll work closely with engineers, architects, and designers across the VHB footprint, giving you exposure to a wide variety of project types, design challenges, and cutting-edge tools and workflows. Responsibilities: Collaborate with engineers and architects to develop structural drawings from conceptual phase to final design for a variety of buildings and transportation infrastructure projects. Provide Revit modeling support to Project Planners/engineers and Managers as needed during project planning phase. Create and manage structural models and integrate with architectural/MEP/civil models and CAD file. Develop /update BIM standards, workflows and quality control to ensure consistency, quality and efficiency Mentor junior Revit and CAD designers and lead the design team on model coordination and planset production. Skills and Abilities: Effective written, communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills to produce high-quality deliverables in an efficient manner. Team oriented with strong capability to work independently. Motivated to lead and mentor others on Revit and drawing production procedures. Has a persistent initiative to continually learn new technical practices and to earn the confidence of clients, company management/colleagues, and regulators. Requirements/ Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree on relevant field of study preferred. 5-10 years of CAD design experience; ideally 3+ years of experience in Revit architectural and/or structural modeling and plan production. Must have excellent working knowledge of drafting standards. Additional proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Construction Cloud is a plus Our best estimate of the salary range for this position located in Boston/Watertown, MA is $85,000-$105,000.
