    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p><strong>Evergreen (Pipeline) Requisition</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>This is an evergreen position designed to pro-actively identify and engage highly qualified candidates for future openings across Odyssey’s portfolio of acquisition and program management support efforts. While this role is not currently tied to a specific contract, selected candidates may be considered for upcoming positions based on their experience, qualifications, and program needs.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Odyssey</strong> is recruiting <strong>Electrical/Avionics Systems Engineering Support </strong>candidates supporting the Special Operations Forces and Personnel Recovery Division (AFLCMC/WIS), at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. WIS is part of the ISR/SOF Directorate (AFLCMC/WI), which is responsible for equipping our warfighters to win the fight. The Directorate executes a $22 billion acquisition portfolio developing, producing, testing, modifying, fielding, and supporting Air Force ISR and SOF platforms, and related sub-systems.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Duties includ</strong><strong>e, but not limited to:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Developing, implementing, and documenting projects.</li>\n <li>Ascertaining needed changes or modifications to production methods, procedures, and/or approaches;</li>\n <li>Documenting systems requirements.</li>\n <li>Evaluating procedures and employing innovative techniques and methods to achieve goals.</li>\n <li>Supporting engineering reviews and/or panels, developing evaluations and technical justifications of feasibility, practicability, and technical soundness, recognizing priorities as well as the urgency of the situation; work may include use or development of computer-aided engineering and analysis tools.</li>\n <li>Developing, executing, and reviewing policies, processes, and procedures of a special or miscellaneous character that may span multiple engineering disciplines and requires application of knowledge of such fundamentals.</li>\n <li>Participating in special projects/initiatives, and preparing oral/written reports; Presenting briefings and developing technical reports to document progress and results; Preparing management reports and conducting technical presentations for planning, implementation, and corrective action.</li>\n <li>Performing airworthiness determinations, Military Flight Release (MFR) preparation, Modification Airworthiness Certification Criteria (MACC) development, and reportability determinations per the latest version of Military Handbook (MIL-HDBK) 516.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Citizenship: Must be a US citizen</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Minimum Required Qualifications</strong></em></p>\n<p><strong>Clearance</strong><strong>: </strong>Secret</p>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science (ABET accredited educational program preferred). </p>\n<p><strong>Years of Experience:</strong> Three (3) or more years engineering experience in a relevant functional area with a minimum of two (2) of those years working in the specialty task areas of avionics, software or test for the DoD.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Additional Information</strong></em></p>\n<p><strong>Location:</strong> Dayton, Ohio</p>\n<p><strong>Travel: </strong>10%</p>\n<p><strong>Remote, Onsite, or Hybrid: </strong>Onsite</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>This is an evergreen position designed to pro-actively identify and engage highly qualified candidates for future openings across Odyssey’s portfolio of acquisition and program management support efforts.
