    "description": "<h2> </h2>\n<p>Weston & Sampson is seeking a Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer with 5-10 years of experience with traffic or roadway design to work in any of our Massachusetts or New Hampshire offices. The Transportation group is currently expanding our highway design engineering practice.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for preparing studies, design plans, specifications and other contract documents for public bidding and to meet client deliverables.</li>\n <li>Responsible for leading a variety of transportation-related projects from a technical and financial perspective and overseeing the work of support staff.</li>\n <li>Peer review services of designs prepared by others.</li>\n <li>The work will also include supporting our other disciplines as well as our external client base.</li>\n <li>May be required to perform on-site field work that may include oversight of contractors and subcontractors.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Pay Range: $90,000 - $120,000+ depending on expererience</p>\n<h2> </h2>\n<p><strong>What you will bring:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering</li>\n <li>Experience with the preparation of roadway and intersection design plans  </li>\n <li>Experience with design criteria to develop horizontal and vertical alignments, superelevation, barrier/guiderail design, intersection grading plans, and spot elevation details</li>\n <li>Experience with the preparation of construction phasing plans and maintenance of traffic based on interdisciplinary coordination and constructability reviews</li>\n <li>Preparation of signing and pavement marking plans and details</li>\n <li>Experience with AutoCAD (Civil 3D) required and Bentley MicroStation (InRoads/OpenRoads a plus).</li>\n <li>Experience with the preparation of construction specifications, quantities, and cost estimates</li>\n <li>Professional Engineer Registration in either New Hampshire or Massachusetts is required with the ability to obtain registration in other states upon hiring</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and time management skills is essential </li>\n <li>Experience with the preparation of presentations that explain technical findings, recommendations, and limitations</li>\n <li>Experience working collaboratively as part of a larger design team to proactively meet the client’s scope, budget, and schedule</li>\n <li>Some travel will be required to client meetings, projects sites, and potentially to other W&S office locations throughout the eastern US.</li>\n <li>Must hold a valid driver’s license</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Weston & Sampson is an 100% employee-owned, full-service environmental and infrastructure consulting firm made up of more than 800 professionals, who work together to develop innovative, cost-effective solutions for our clients.
