At UnityPoint Health, <strong>you </strong>matter. </p>\n<p>UnityPoint Health – Fort Dodge provides coordinated clinic, hospital and home-based care for patients in Fort Dodge and surrounding communities. As a designated regional referral center Trinity Regional Medical Center offers a wide range of primary and secondary care services. Trinity is accredited by DNV Healthcare Inc. and has achieved Pathway to Excellence designation by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Overview</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Full-time opportunity practicing in a concierge model Urgent Care</li>\n <li>Clinic open 8am-8pm x 365 days per year</li>\n <li>No appointments necessary</li>\n <li>Fully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Three 12 hour shifts per week</li>\n <li>Weekend and holiday rotation</li>\n <li>Provide medical treatment for minor illnesses, injures and offer select diagnostic tests</li>\n <li>Prescribe treatment, educate patients and refer for follow up care as needed</li>\n <li>Work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent assessment skills</li>\n <li>Provide high quality care to all ages</li>\n <li>Patients per day varies depending on the season </li>\n <li>No call requirements</li>\n <li>Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment</li>\n <li>Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve</li>\n <li>Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant</li>\n <li>Board Certified</li>\n <li>1-2 years of provider experience preferred</li>\n <li>Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa </li>\n <li>Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice</li>\n <li>Eligible to work in the United States</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Community Details</strong></p>\n<p>Fort Dodge, known for its Midwest charm and family values, is a great place to live, work and raise a family.
