If you&rsquo;re ready to put your talent to work on products that make an impact, we want to meet you.</p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Core Welding Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Perform GMAW (MIG) welding on THI products in flat, horizontal, vertical, and occasional overhead positions.</li><li>Perform GTAW (TIG) welding on select THI products as required.</li><li>Set up and operate welding equipment, including selecting correct wire types/sizes and adjusting amperage, voltage, wire feed speed, and pulse settings per welding documentation.</li><li>Execute proper welding techniques to achieve required fusion, bead profile, travel speed, arc length, and torch angle.</li><li>Prepare joints and parts for welding, including cleaning, degreasing, grooving, scarfing, clamping, and tacking assemblies.</li></ul><p><strong>Quality &amp; Inspection</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Conduct visual inspections of welds, including hydro-tube welds, bead characteristics, and first-part checks.</li><li>Ensure proper tie-in of starts, stops, and passes.</li><li>Perform repair preparation (grinding, sanding) and complete repair welds using approved techniques.</li><li>Complete post-repair inspections and verify compliance with welding standards.</li><li>Maintain weld integrity with <strong>zero NCRs related to welder workmanship.</strong></li></ul><p><strong>Finishing &amp; Part Handling</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Remove excess weld, slag, and spatter.</li><li>Wire-wheel, clean, or otherwise finish welded surfaces to specification.</li><li>Preheat parts to required temperatures using a hand torch when specified.</li></ul><p><strong>Safety, Ethics, and Teamwork</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Follow all THI safety procedures and quality standards.</li><li>Uphold the highest ethical standards in all work performed.</li><li>Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Education, Skills, and Experience:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High school diploma, GED, or completion of a technical/vocational welding program.</li><li>Minimum of <strong>3 years of welding experience</strong> in a manufacturing or industrial environment.</li><li>Ability to pass a <strong>1G (Flat) 1&quot; groove GMAW (MIG) qualification plate test</strong> as part of the pre-employment process.</li><li>Ability to pass a <strong>5G or 6G groove GTAW (TIG) qualification test</strong> on 2.75&quot; OD pipe with backing ring within 60 days of employment.</li><li>Proven proficiency in both GMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG) welding techniques (testing and on-the-job demonstration required).</li><li>Ability to follow written instructions, safety rules, and welding procedure specifications (WPS).</li><li>Basic math skills necessary for welding measurements (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).</li></ul><h1 data-start=\"256\" data-end=\"305\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong data-start=\"258\" data-end=\"305\">Why You&rsquo;ll Love Welding at Texas Hydraulics</strong></h1><p data-start=\"307\" data-end=\"538\">At Texas Hydraulics, your welds don&rsquo;t just join metal &mdash; they help move the world.
