    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<blockquote>\n <p><strong>PAUT Level II Technician - Houston, TX</strong></p>\n</blockquote>\n<p><strong>Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions to many of the world’s top-recognized brands and companies, is actively seeking a PAUT Level II Technician&nbsp;to join our Asset Integrity Management team at our Houston, TX location. &nbsp;Must be able to certify as a PAUT Technician with prior Level II certification and experience.&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p><strong>What are we looking for?</strong></p>\n<blockquote>\n <p>&nbsp;The&nbsp;<strong>PAUT&nbsp;Level II Technician</strong>&nbsp;is responsible for&nbsp;the inspection of assigned materials, objects, or systems using Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing. Additional NDT certifications and experience are a plus. Working knowledge of semi-automated and automated encoding required.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Set up and calibrate equipment; interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.</li>\n  <li>Should be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods for which qualified and shall exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of assigned trainees and NDE Level I personnel.</li>\n  <li>Should be able to organize and report the results of any assigned NDT.</li>\n </ul>\n <p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<strong> This position outline is a general guideline and does not represent all encompassing details. The position assumes that the incumbent has both the mental and physical requirements to carry out the above defined duties.&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p>\n <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p>\n <p><strong>Minimum Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in Advanced UT methods, including, but not limited to Phased Array.</li>\n  <li>Prior Level II certification</li>\n  <li>API QUPA and API QUTE certifications or ISO Thickness, ISQ Shear Wave and ISQ Phased Array certifications required for consideration</li>\n  <li>Valid Drivers' License and reliable driving record (required)</li>\n  <li>Current TWIC card</li>\n  <li>Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be fluent in English.</li>\n  <li>Computer skills, especially familiarity with MS Office applications. are necessary.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Additional experience and prior certification in other NDE methods (MT, PT, UTT, VT) preferred</li>\n </ul>\n <p>&nbsp;</p>\n <p><strong>&nbsp;Intertek: Total Quality.
