This project is part of our larger South Carlin Complex which includes a prospective land package. We also </span></span><span><span>operate </span></span><span><span>the Camino Rojo Oxide Gold Mine, a gold and silver open-pit heap leach mine, </span></span><span><span>located </span></span><span><span>in Zacatecas State, Central Mexico. We are custodians of the assets we run and the environments in which we </span></span><span><span>operate</span><span>, and we are committed to fostering a culture of excellence, care, and respect.</span></span><span><br></span><span><br></span></p>\n<p><span><span>As Orla continues to grow, we are seeking a </span><span>Mine Operations Superintendent</span><span> to join our team and play a key role in supporting the success of our operations. In this role, </span><span>you will lead, direct, and continuously improve all surface mining activities to deliver safe, productive, and cost-effective operations. </span></span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Responsibilities</span></span></span><span><br></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Lead a Zero Harm culture, ensuring s</span><span>afe work practices, hazard awareness, and full compliance with MSHA and Orla Mining standards.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Direct the execution of all loading, hauling, drilling, blasting, dozing, road maintenance, and pit support activities.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets while managing ore/waste movement, minimizing dilution, and </span><span>optimizing</span><span> cost per ton.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Review and align short-range (shift to 13-week) plans with long-range strategies </span><span>and mine</span><span> engineering inputs.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Coordinate with Engineering, Geology, Maintenance, Processing, and EH&amp;S to ensure seamless operational readiness and execution.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Build, mentor, and develop a high-performance operations workforce, including supervisors, drill &amp; blast teams, and training personnel.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Foster a culture of accountability, capability growth, and operational excellence.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Drive improvements in haulage efficiency, drill-blast fragmentation, rehandle reduction, and mining cycle times.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Develop, execute, and manage the Mine Operations operating budget, including labor, consumables, drill &amp; blast, equipment </span><span>utilization</span><span>, and contractor services, ensuring cost performance aligns with mine plans and production targets.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Track, analyze, and report daily, weekly, and monthly mine operations performance, including production volumes, fleet productivity, unit costs, and key operational variances, using FMS and operational data.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Qualifications</span></span></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><br></span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Bachelor’s degree in Mine Engineering or a related field preferred</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Minimum</span><span> </span><span>fifteen years of experience in open-pit hard-rock mining operations, including production, drill and blast, loading, hauling, and ore control</span><span>.</span><span> </span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Minimum </span><span>ten years of senior operational leadership experience supervising crews, executing mine plans, and managing daily performance in a large-scale open-pit mining environment</span><span>.</span><span> </span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Strong knowledge of truck/shovel operations, drill and blast, ore control, pit compliance, and fleet management systems</span><span>.</span><span> </span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Practical experience with Fleet Management Systems (FMS)</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Demonstrated success in operational improvement initiatives and cost optimization</span><span>.</span><span> </span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and leadership skills</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate level or higher)</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Must </span><span>be authorized to</span><span> work in the United States for any employer</span><span>.</span><span> </span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Must </span><span>possess</span><span> a valid driver’s license</span></span><span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span><span>At Orla, we prioritize our people, creating and </span></span><span><span>maintaining </span></span><span><span>a workplace culture of diversity and inclusion where employees are respected, valued, and recognized for their contributions.</span></span><span><br></span><span><br></span><span> </span></p>",
