The RN collaborates with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care in accordance with MRHC policies and the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Oklahoma.</p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma.</li><li>Graduation from an accredited nursing program.</li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.</li><li>Strong knowledge of nursing principles, patient care standards, and medical terminology.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation software.</li><li>Familiarity with quality improvement methodologies and patient safety initiatives.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills demonstrated in a multidisciplinary team environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately in the medical record.</li><li>Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for adverse reactions and effectiveness.</li><li>Coordinate with healthcare team members to develop, implement, and update individualized patient care plans.</li><li>Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.</li><li>Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical staff.</li><li>Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Assist with procedures and support patients during diagnostic tests and surgeries as needed.</li><li>Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to enhance nursing practice.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><p>The RN utilizes clinical assessment skills daily to evaluate patient conditions and identify changes requiring intervention.
